MAILA KHAN
Maila is trained in the Existential-Humanistic approach, and embraces its core principles of empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness. Her space is dedicated to recognising and nurturing each individual’s potential. Her journey to becoming a Counselling Psychologist started in the busy hallways of her boarding school. Her life there soon made her realise that she had a natural ability to connect with people, and she liked offering support and understanding to those in need. These early experiences, along with her interest in Psychology, deepened her empathy and curiosity about the human mind. The challenges she faced in her own life—grief, heartbreak, and uncertainty. It deepened her understanding, and strengthened her belief in the healing power of human connections. For Maila, becoming a Psychologist was not just a career choice; it was a purpose that grew out of her own experiences and her deep-rooted desire to connect with people and support those around her. Free Your Mind is the realization of her dream—a space where people can come, feel understood, and seek the support they need. It is a place where healing begins, where individuals are encouraged to find their strength, and where they are never judged but always embraced with care, empathy, and understanding.
